Intrigued to See What We Will Do Next

Norman Rockwell (1946)

One of the respondents to the survey on teaching and learning is herself a teacher, and she contacted me to say, among other things, the following.

We start preschool soon … 12 excited three year olds having their first school experience this coming week … They are so completely engaged in what we are exploring, love to laugh and play with words, get messy, negotiate with one another, create and look closely at everything. They enter the classroom intrigued to see what we will do next. I have the best job!

Doesn’t it make you smile? And weep a little, too.
